ACC Dual Enrollment Program Admission Process

Students need to complete the ACC online application at http://www.applytexas.org/

The tips below will help with the application 问题. 

*VERY IMPORTANT* Make sure you enter your Social Security number if you have one.

  • Select “Two-year community/junior college.”
  • Select Alvin Community 大学 (Alvin) as the institution in the drop down menu.
  • Select 双重信用 for 您的应用程序 type.
  • Select 学期 (most likely Fall but you can select Spring or Summer if Fall is not available).
  • Select Alvin Community 大学 再一次。.
  • Select ASSOCIATE OF ARTS - GENERAL STUDIES 作为你的专业.
  • 你会回答 双重信用 问题 和 Questions specific to Alvin Community 大学
  • 为 项, you will be applying to the 16-week term.
  • When you have completed all steps, 提交 您的应用程序.
  • Once application is submitted, you will receive an email with confirmation number 来自Apply Texas.

注意: An ACC acceptance email should be received within 48 business hours during normal processing times 和 may be longer during peak registration periods. Please check your junk/spam folder for this important communication if it does not route to your inbox automatically.

Students need to take TSI (Texas Success Initiative) Assessment or provide waiver or exemption.

  • Learn more about the TSIA 和 find sample study 问题 on our ACC TSI Testing Information Page.
  • If you require accommodations, contact the Student Accessibility Services Office prior to registering for the exam.
  • Students taking the TSI are required to have a picture ID (school, passport, driver 许可).  If you do not have a picture ID, you can use this 学生证表格 和 have it completed by your school's or notarized.

All students new to Dual Enrollment must attend Dual Enrollment Orientation 整个夏天. 

Students will pay for their ACC college courses 和 textbooks 之前 each semester begins. They will receive a "Steps for Making a Payment电子邮件和短信. 

A $50 fee will be assessed for each payment not made by the due date

How to 付款

You do not have to log into 豆荚 or need a password to make a payment.

  • On the ACC website roll over the 支付大学学费 tab
  • Select 付款
  • Select Student tab
  • Enter your ACC Student ID Number*
  • Enter Birth Date (mmddyy)
  • 点击登录

Payments can be made over the phone to ACC's Cashier using a credit card at 281.756.3593.

Payment plan options are available through the website. 

Select the payment plan option online when making your payment ($30 non-refundable setup fee is required for a payment plan). 

*Find your ACC ID number (7-digit number beginning with 0) in your ACC Acceptance 电子邮件，或者你可以 locate it in 豆荚 on your fee statement.

Locate Your ACC ID Number on Your Fee Statement (in 豆荚)

  1. 登录POD
  2. 下 WebACCess on right side of the page
  3. 选择学生
  4. 选择计划 & 登记
  5. Select Fee Statement
  6. Click on View Statement on right side of page
  7. Your Student ID number is on right side of page under your name.
